After landing at the Guwahati airport or train station, go to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East," which is 4,900 feet above sea level. Visit Umium Lake, a magnificent, serene lake encircled by woodland hills, while traveling. Check in at your hotel when you get to Shillong.
Visit Lady Hydari Park, Ward''s Lake, the Botanical Garden, and the Don Bosco Museum after breakfast. Personal activities are allowed in the evening.
Drive to the world''s wettest location, Cherrapunjee (4,400 feet), after breakfast. Savor the Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthelen Falls, and Mawkdok Valley on route. Check in at your accommodation when you get to Cherrapunjee.
We prepare for a half-day hike to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge, which is located deep into the jungle, after breakfast. Depending on the individual''s level of physical fitness, it will take three to four hours. Visit Koh Ram Hah, Ecopark, Mawsmai Cave, and Nohsngithiang Falls (also called the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls) in the afternoon. Go back to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, go 38.8 square kilometers to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. The world''s highest concentration of rhinos is found in Pobitora. The Asiatic buffalo, leopard, wild bear, civet cat, and other creatures are among them. This refuge is also home to more than 200 birds and a variety of reptiles. Check into the hotel as you arrive. You can spend the evening relaxing or taking a nature walk through the park.
Go for an elephant safari early in the morning, if space permits. For breakfast, head back to the hotel. Take a jeep safari into Pobitora afterwards. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, where the one-horned rhinoceros can be found, in the afternoon. Go to your hotel and check in. You have the evening to yourself.
Ride an elephant in any area of Kaziranga National Park in the early morning. There are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants, and, if you''re lucky, tigers in addition to rhinos. Because the park has several bodies of water, pelicans, storks, and darters call it home. For breakfast, head back to the lodge. Visit Kaziranga Orchid Park after taking a vehicle safari in the national park in the afternoon. Go back to the hotel.
Take a car to Guwahati after breakfast. Visit Nagaon''s Maha Mrityunjay Temple en way. When you go to your hotel, check in. We recommend an optional excursion of the Brahmaputra''s golden sunset boat in the evening (direct payment by own).
Visit Kamakhya Temple after breakfast (Note: Timing: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. until dusk). Transfer to the railway station or airport in Guwahati for your next destination.
