Kalimpong

Kalimpong, located in West Bengal, is a serene hill station at an altitude of 1,250 meters. It is known for its flower markets, particularly orchids, and nurseries. The town offers a peaceful ambiance with attractions like the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery and the colonial-era MacFarlane Memorial Church. The Deolo and Durpin Dara hills provide panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Kalimpong’s unique blend of cultures, including Tibetan, Nepalese, and British influences, is reflected in its architecture and festivals.

Darjeeling

Darjeeling, also in West Bengal, is famous for its tea plantations and the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated at an altitude of 2,042 meters, it offers spectacular views of Mount Kanchenjunga. Key attractions include the Tiger Hill sunrise point, the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Day 1:

Arrival NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (130 Km / 05 Hrs):

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (500Ft / 150Mts) will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, Check-in and overnight at Hotel. 

Day 2:

Gangtok (43 km / 02 hours):

After breakfast, in the morning, start for an excursion to Baba Mandir & Tshangu Lake – situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel. (In case of Landslide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).  Overnight stay in Hotel at Gangtok 

Day 3 :

Gangtok – Kalimpong (85 Km / 03 Hrs):

Go for a half day sightseeing covering Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom & Enchey Monastery. Afternoon transfer to Kalimpong. Check-in. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 4:

Kalimpong – Darjeeling (70 Km / 03 Hrs):

Today after Breakfast visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts). Overnight stay at Hotel.

 Day 5:

Darjeeling:

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight stay in Hotel at Darjeeling. 

 Day 6:

Darjeeling- Bagdogra Departure (110 km / 04 hours):

After breakfast checkout of the hotel & Reach the Bagdogra Airport / Railway Station for your onward connection or way back home

Payment and Cancellation/Amendment Policy for Tour Bookings

Payment Schedule:

1. Up to 35 days prior to the departure date:

   • An initial deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required. This deposit is non-refundable.

2. Between 34 days to 30 days prior to departure:

   • 50% of the total tour cost must be paid.

3. Between 29 days to 22 days prior to departure:

   • 75% of the total tour cost must be paid.

4. Less than 21 days prior to departure:

   • 100% of the total tour cost must be paid.

Cancellation/Amendments Policy:

To cancel or amend your booking, a written request must be submitted to us. Please note that any amendment to a booking will be treated as a cancellation. The cancellation charges are as follows:

1. If the cancellation notice is received 30 days or more before the departure date:

   • The initial deposit amount of 25% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.

2. If the cancellation notice is received between 16 days to 29 days before the departure date:

   • 50% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.

3. If the cancellation notice is received between 8 days to 15 days before the departure date:

   • 75% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.

4. If the cancellation notice is received between 0 days to 7 days before the departure date:

   • 100% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
